Are you anxious about the current college admissions process and tired of hearing horror stories about the stress and angst of it?  Well, I am too!  Everywhere you turn, you see articles painting pictures of exhausted students and parents talking about the “college frenzy” or some talking-head ranting about the latest admission rates.  It’s enough to make you want bury your head under the pillow or even worse, pack your bags and move to Canada!

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Somewhere along the line an urban legend was created that only “A” students get to go to college. And that’s not true!  Many of the articles and other information are geared toward the “perfect” student who is looking for attendance at a selective college.  That’s fine, but what about everyone else?  You need help, too!  That’s why we’re here. We know that if you have the desire, a plan and are willing to do some work, you can find several colleges that will accept you. 

Let’s stop the college admissions madness!

I can’t bear to hear about students who have lost their love of learning because they were chasing a process. It breaks my heart! They used to love the course work but now find themselves in a maze and spend each day just trying to get by, taking classes and participating in activities that don’t interest them but will supposedly get them into their school of choice.  I understand what it’s like because it almost happened to me.

When was the last time you looked at you?  Perhaps you’ve been too busy to step back and look at what you love to do.  So take a minute right now. THINK!  What are you good at? What do you love?  What makes you laugh? What are your dreams for changing the world?  If you’re dreaming it, you are probably meant to do it!
